The model:  This model debuted at the 2009 Gold Cup.  New boat blues plagued her there, but some more tweaking will make all the difference.  Mike has done a great job building it and it looks cool too.  Live that scaffolding tail!  

The real boat:  The new 1984 boat showed promise until it blew over and had to be rebuilt.  It came back in 1985 with a new tail and a cutaway section on the outside part of the center section in an attempt to reduce aerodynamic lift on that side of the boat.
