This boat was originally built by Roger Newton as the Hawaii Kai. Just like the real boat it was converted into the 1964 Miss US. I purchased the boat in 2006 and earned rookie of the year honors with it. Raced it sparing until the boat was updated to the unique 1967 Bobtail in Mark Beatty's shop which gave it new life. Placed 3rd last year, and it is fast yet very stable boat. Includes an sv 27 Motor and esc., wire drive assembly, all hardware, prop and radio. Brushed Motors and controller: One used SS-1 Cordite brushed motor. $25, two brand new reversed and timed AstroFlight 25-5 turn motors (contact Tony about these as no price was stated).

Rudder: One used custom rudder. The rudder blade is 3.5" and is 1.5" at its widest point. It is spring loaded, so it will kick up and spring back down if it strikes something in the water. Blade plus mounts, $20.

Details: New in 2007, this is a Jeff Campbell carbon fiber boat with a Himax 3630-1500 motor, Castle Creations ESC and Campbell prop. All set up with a Spektrum Radio, add your own batteries and you're ready to go racing. Fast and light. Very few races on this hull.
